Vision of Zion Christian Church Prayer Ministry
The vision of
Zion Christian Church Prayer Ministry is five fold. While we recognize that it is only by His grace and His spirit, we through prayer,
seek to accomplish His Divine call in and through our local body.
Because prayer is the backbone that supports the vision of the house,
we believe the first fruits of prayer daily, weekly and monthly prayer are vital. Prayer is held at various times to give opportunity
for the prayer of agreement (Matthew 18:19-20) to cover Pastoral requests. Secondly, regular meetings are held to equip through teaching
and the experience of prayer for those who are learning to pray, as well as, for those who are seasoned intercessors. Guidance is
provided during the times of group prayer by our Prayer Pastor, along with our prayer leaders. This leadership is given so one can
discover and see the gifts of the Holy Spirit become evident in their prayer life as they learn to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit
and learn their authority over the tricks and deceptions of our adversary. Thirdly, regional prayer outreach takes place quarterly
as area churches meet together. We believe that each local body of believers are important to the fulfillment of Jesus Christís prayer
in John 14:21, ďI do not ask in behalf of these, but for those also who believe in Me through their word that they may be one even
as You, Father, are in Me and I in You; that they may also be one in US that the world may believe that you sent MeĒ. Fourthly, Heavenly
Father has called our local body to prayer 24/7. Sign-up for 24/7 prayer to pray both at home and/or in our church prayer room during
office hours. There is an open door before us from Father to walk into what he has for us in this hour. Prayer is the key that will
thrust us into His Divine purpose. Finally, prayer covering for needs and emergency requests is available through our email prayer
line, along with a hot line that may be called any time a need arises. Many miracles have been reported by those who have called for
prayer, because of the faithfulness of those who stand in the gap for these needs.
Through faith, unity of heart, purpose, repentance,
being people of worship at His feet, and prayer, we expect to see blessing, anointing, refreshing, and the unleashing of his presence
in our local body, and in reaching/supporting our community, area regions, our state, nation and Israel through prayer. One of the
ways the compassion of our Lord is enacted through us is in the sacrificial act of love by our prayers.
